What we do

We are Australia’s anti-scamming nerve centre, where industry and government work together to protect the nation and make it a harder target for scammers.

Collaboration

We're improving cooperation between government, industry, and law enforcement to make Australia a harder target for scammers.

Disruption

Disruption at scale cuts criminals off fast and deters other scammers from those methods.

Awareness and protection

We educate and protect the community through our Scamwatch services.

How we're run

The National Anti-Scam Centre is a virtual centre that sits within the ACCC, guided by an advisory board.
